HU Debating Championship Cup
Hajvery University hosted Inter-University Debating Championship Cup on 10th October 13. Debating teams from 20 universities around Pakistan participated in Hajvery University Debating Cup. The debate was bilingual and all participating institutions had speakers for both Urdu and English. The audience had the chance to hear the young people’s opinions for and against “Does Internet need censorship” in English and “نگاہِ مردِ مومن سے بدل جاتی ہیں تقدیریں” in Urdu.
Government College University (GCU) Lahore won the Trophy for Urdu Debate and FAST won the Trophy for English Debate. 350+ people attended the HU Debating Cup. Since the event was met with huge enthusiasm by both audience and participants.
I Dream of a Pakistan
TEDxHUP International Conference was organized by Hajvery University (HU) under license from TED, USA. The Conference brought together the Movers & Shakers of Pakistan as Keynote Speakers; from the former Governor of Punjab, Lt. Gen (r) Khalid Maqbool Sb, Academia: Chairman HEC, Dr. Javaid R. Laghari Sb, Senior Journalists: Oriya Maqbool Jan Sb, Javed Chaudhry sb, and the remarkable Mohammad Malick Sb, Senior Foreign Diplomat, US Consul General: Ms. Nina Maria Fite, Google, Country Consultant, Badar Khushnood Sb, CEO Depilex, Ms. Massarat Misbah, Media & Cultural Icons: Mian Yousuf Salahuddin Sb, Adeel Hashmi Sb, Ms. Huma Amir Shah delivered their talks, and shared Dreams for Pakistan.
The Theme of the Conference was — I Dream of a Pakistan. The objective was to create a platform where passionate people can come together and spark deep discussions on how to bring a peaceful & positive change to Pakistan.
HU's Got Talent
HU Performing Art & Dramatics Society (HUPADS) will host passionate show HU’s Got Talent on 10th December 2013 and give youth a chance to show off their talent and interests in front of their peers consequently nurture them. HU’s Got Talent will be an excellent platform for the students to showcase their talents and get recognized and awarded for those.
HU’s Got Talent will involve the students from different schools, colleges and institutions to display their innate gifts on the stage through a series of singing, dancing and stand-up comedy and more competitions. Prizes and rewards will be given to the most talented groups and candidates to encourage their exposure and innovation on aesthetics co-curricular activities. HU’s Got Talent is planned to be a potential platform for struggle and contest that aims to expose the participants to a battle of ideas, voice and creativity.Categories for HU’s Got Talent:

HU Fashion Degree Show
Hajvery University (HU) Students of Fashion Design showcased their Dress Designs in an elegant Exhibition held at HU Euro Campus. The event attracted a large number of people, including Fashion Designers, Boutiques, Press & Media; the audience was overwhelmed by the work of the young fashion designers; each display portrayed a different theme: Victorian, Mughal, Balochi, Ghotic, Valentines, Wedding, Fantasy, Egyptian, Nature and several others.
The displays were setup by the Final Year Students of BFD – Bachelors of Fashion Design, The jury consisting of senior faculty members of Fashion Design will mark these Projects. The exhibition also featured display by an Alumni of HU School of Fashion Design, Sajjad who has launched his own Label now and is doing very well.

HU Orientation program is a great way to learn about all of the exciting things that HU has to offer. These programs are designed to enrich student life, prepare students for academic excellence, provide campus entertainment and promote student volunteerism and prepare students to be leaders in their communities.
HU Orientation program assists new students in their transition from School to University and provides a foundation for academic excellence at HU. During orientation, students can enroll in classes, become familiar with many academic departments and meet new students within the same course.
HU Career Fair
TheCareer Development Office will organize HU Career Fair 2014, in which leading employers from all over Pakistan will participate.
HU Career Fair 2014 is a great opportunity for our students especially those graduating in 2014 to meet employers face-to-face, make contacts for the purpose of exploring career options and inquiring about available jobs and internships in their organizations. The focus is on networking and sharing of information between companies and job seekers. It is an attempt to provide students multiple career opportunities within a variety of companies at one location. We are expecting no less than 20 companies to participate at the career fair.

The Students of HU have had pleasure to enjoy many Musical Evenings at HU Euro Campus.The Hajvery University has always provided chances of festivity to students to sharpen their intellectual skills and to groom their personalities.
May, 2012 HU students organized Musical Night in collaboration with Administration. Students were thrilled and delighted to enjoy an evening of fun and frolics. DJ Butt intensified the event’s shades and rhythm. It was a wonderful entertaining and engaging activity for the young people of HU.
October, 2013 HU students planned Thriving Musical night concluding orientation and HI-Tea to allow the incoming students to begin one of the most important journeys of their lives with a memorable evening.
